The 40W laser handles roughly 20mm basswood and 30mm acrylic in a single pass, and its beam can be switched between a high-power cutting mode and a narrower, more precise engraving mode. A bundled 2W IR laser module handles fine, high-resolution detail engraving with a much tighter spot size than the primary laser, making it ideal for intricate designs on smaller items.
